Operating at the highest level in one of leading Gulf banks, implementing bank's Retail Banking strategy and developing retail banking products in line with market demands. Conducting market research to establish future strategy and develop key internal and external relationships.
THE POSITION
To manage and maximise effectiveness of Group Retail and Business banking, Retail Assets, Retail Sales and Marketing, Wealth Management, Private Banking, Retail Credit, Credit Cards, Electronic products and overall Service Quality.
To establish target budgets (loans, deposits, cards, other retail products) and monitor performance against targets.
To determine and implement appropriate pricing structures/policies for the asset and liability products.
To identify new business opportunties in conjunction with respective department heads.
To develop Key Performance Indicators for the purpose of performance monitoring and quality measurement.
To enhance and maintain relationships with high net worth retail banking clients.
To approve service level agreements with other Group divisions to achieve improvements and maximise customer satisfaction.
THE CANDIDATE
Will have a Masters Degree from a US or European university or business school.
Will have 20 years banking experience with leading international banks e.g. Citibank, JP Morgan, Bank of America etc.
Will have experienced similar General Manager roles reporting to the bank's CEO
Will have achieved proven success in a similar role with a leading international bank.
Will have spent a period in his career working in one or more of the Gulf countries.
